Jessica Patterson, LEED AP ID+C was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her passion for business and the arts led her to a career in Interior Design. Jessica established her design studio JLP Design, Inc in 2009, after building her design career at Gensler, a global architecture firm. At Gensler, she was part of a team that worked on such prestigious projects such as LA Live and The Arizona Biltmore (a Frank Lloyd Wright building)
JLP Design, Inc is a full-service interior design firm. Whether designing a business or a home, our primary goal is to capture the client’s personal aesthetic and elevate their vision to create a truly unique space. JLP Design provides a number of services from space planning, computer drafting, photo-realistic renderings, color analysis and so much more.

More about Jessica Patterson, Founder and Creative Director
Jessica received her BA in Art from the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture and later received her Post Graduate Certification in Interior Design and Architecture from UCLA Extension ARC/ID Program.
Jessica is a LEED Accredited Professional. LEED® designations were developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for professional builders to be certified to work in the green, or sustainable, building field. Jessica strives to use sustainable materials in her designs whenever possible. Promoting the cause of affordable sustainability, she counsels businesses on how they can create an environmentally friendly workplace and save on overhead expenses.
As a former non-profit fundraiser she believes in giving back to her community. Jessica has sat on the board of Partners for Potential (PFP) since 2014. PFP is a small non-profit that provides life skills classes for adults with developmental disabilities. In addition, Jessica has been volunteering weekly at Guide Dogs of America since 2019. She works with the puppies in the breeding department on basic skills and socialization that will prepare them to be future seeing eye dogs.
Jessica lives in Los Angeles in a mid-century ranch with her husband, son and a high maintenance and often grumpy Border Collie/Corgi mix.
